For the first time this year, I covered the pond for the winter.The frame was built with wood and covered with tarp and held over with strings. To my surprise, the water never frozed over and the tarp prevented leaves and other debris from contaminating the water. I did not loose any fish during the winter. Therefore, I bought a used Tempo shelter this year to cover my pond as shown in the pictures of October.
Pour la première fois cette année, j`ai couvert mon bassin pour l`hiver. La charpente fut construite en bois et recouverte d`un tarpaulin et maintenue par de la corde. À ma grande surprise l`eau n`a jamais gèlé et le tarpaulin a empêché les feuilles et autres débris de contaminés l`eau. Je n`ai perdu aucun poissons durant l`hiver. C' est pourquoi, j`ai acheté un abris Tempo usagé pour couvrir mon bassin tel que démontré en octobre 2003.
